Your neck pain isn't random. It's the end result of a mechanical chain reaction that started somewhere else. We don't rub the sore spot. We find the hidden failure and fix it so the pain stops coming back.

Why Your Neck Pain Keeps Coming Back

Neck pain is rarely just a "stiff muscle." It is the result of a heavy head being supported by a spine that has lost its optimal alignment. Chronic neck tension is often a victim of issues elsewhere — a stiff mid-back, poor breathing patterns, or restricted shoulder mechanics.

At Drive Wellness Center, we aren't here to just rub the spot that hurts. We fix the mechanical imbalances that cause your neck to lock up in the first place.

The Root-Cause Process

We know the standard healthcare experience: crowded waiting rooms, rushed doctors, and cookie-cutter advice. We refuse to operate that way.

1

We Listen

We dig deep into your history — not just "where does it hurt," but how you sleep, how you drive, and how you work. The cause of your neck pain is hiding in your daily habits.

2

We Investigate

We don't just poke the sore spot. We analyze your entire kinetic chain to see if a shoulder imbalance, thoracic stiffness, or breathing pattern is the invisible force straining your neck.

3

We Explain

Before we start treatment, you will understand exactly what is happening in your body and exactly how we plan to fix it. No jargon. No mystery. Full transparency.

Neck Pain Treatment FAQ

Common questions from patients visiting our Winnipeg clinic.

Can a stiff neck cause headaches?
Yes. Tension in the muscles at the base of the skull (suboccipitals) is a primary cause of cervicogenic headaches. These headaches typically wrap from the back of the head around to the eye, and are frequently misdiagnosed as migraines. We treat the jammed neck joints that refer pain into the head.
What is "Tech Neck" and can it be fixed?
Tech Neck is a mechanical failure from prolonged forward-leaning. Your head weighs about 10-12 lbs in neutral, but up to 42 lbs when tilted forward 30 degrees. It can absolutely be fixed by releasing tight chest muscles, mobilizing the thoracic spine, and strengthening the deep neck flexors that hold your head upright.
How do I know if my neck pain is serious?
Signs that warrant immediate professional assessment include radiating pain or numbness into your arm or hand, weakness when gripping, pain following a sudden impact like whiplash, dizziness or visual changes when turning your head, or difficulty walking. If you experience any of these, book an assessment right away.
Why does my neck pain travel down my arm?
This is typically caused by nerve compression in the cervical spine. A disc bulge, bone spur, or swollen joint can narrow the space where the nerve exits, causing pain, tingling, or numbness to radiate into the shoulder, arm, or fingers. We use specific manual therapy and nerve-gliding techniques to create space and restore sensation.
